Funeral Services of Fr. Reilly

Date: March 21, 2012

By: KAB

On March 17, 2012, Father Reilly, the priest at St. Michaels Church in Palisades Park, NJ passed away after an accidental fire left him injured a week prior. Here at KAB, we all mourned the loss of a long time icon to our community, but more importantly a friend.

Due to the overwhelming community response, not just from Palisades Park Residents, but by several municipalities throughout New Jersey, St. Michaels needed a way for the anticipated large crowd of mourners. KAB was given the task of broadcasting the services live to the school auditorium half-way down a city block. In a request by St. Michael's Church and the Palisades Park Police Dept, KAB's engineers pre-wired the church and school the very next day, provided the equipment, and tested the broadcast system. On the day of the actual service, we had our team filming and broadcasting the services to over 1,000 people in real-time. The entire broadcast went smoothly, and everyone who wanted to pay their respects were able to do so.

Afterwards, we were again approached by St. Michael's Church and the Palisades Park Police Dept to take our video of the service, and compile it onto a produced DVD for distribution. Within three days, the DVD was produced with a cover, Lightscribe stamp, and beautiful custom menu's. We then made the copies and delivered them personally.

All of this work and was done at no charge to St. Michael's Church or the Palisades Park Police Dept. KAB donated all the labor, equipment, and consumables to honor Father Reilly. If you would like a copy of this DVD, please contact our office.
